Weekend Fuel

Fueling myself for tomorrow’s workout!
My new favorite on-the-go breakfast? 
Overnight oats!
Also called cold soak oats.


This is my base recipe for when I’m in a hurry the night before and don’t have time to experiment:

1/3 C steel cut oats (do NOT use quick oats-it won’t work)
1/3 C almond/coconut milk
1/3 C greek yogurt – any flavor
pinch of salt
cinnamon/spices – to taste

Combine the above ingredients and let soak in the fridge over night

In the morning…
layer in mason jar:
overnight oats
granola/flax seed/chia seed/coconut shavings
fresh fruit (my personal favorite right now is peaches and raspberries! yum!)

Put the jar back in the fridge till you eat it.
