Just cheered a friend through the finish line on her first 100m bike race! Way to go, B! She did awesome.
While talking with her, she said that at each aid station they handed out gu, bananas, water, gatorade and…wait for it…oreos with a spoonful of peanut butter on top.
Like any good running girl, I suggested we pack it for our relay race the following week. It’s for sure one of my favorite ways to get carbs/protein back in your system. Have a hankering for sugar but trying to stay healthy? Try it out! We used both organic peanut butter and organic almond butter. Both are t-a-s-t-y!
Just don’t eat too many 🙂
